Itinerary:

In the Footsteps of Gurus

Day 01:  Arrival Lahore – “Jee Ayan Noon”

After a warm and traditional Panjabi welcome at Wahga border (may also reach Lahore by air), we will be transferred to hotel and check in, en route visit Shalamar Garden. Airport pick up would be arranged for those who want to come by air. Afternoon we will start Baisakhi festival at Gurdwara Dera Saheb (Guru Arjun Dev Ji), and Samadi Maharaja Ranjeet Singh, Badshahi Masjid and Lahore Fort. Overnight stay in hotel at Lahore.

Day 02:  Lahore – Sachha Sauda – Eminabad – Sialkot 

After breakfast we will first depart for Sialkot  – en-route visit Gurdwara Sachha Sauda and then visit the Gurdwaras of Rohri Sahib, Gurudwara Chakki Sahib and Bhai Lalu Di Khoi at Eminabad (Eminabad is now part of Gujranwala city) and then proceed to Sialkot. Overnight stay in hotel at Sialkot.

Day 03:  Sialkot – Kartar Pur – Sialkot

Full day excursion – we will visit Gurdwara Dera Sahib at Kartar Pur – afterwards we will proceed to visit Gurdwara Bheri Sahib at Sialkot. On arrival transfer to hotel and check  in. Later on shopping tour of nearby shopping center of Saddar area. Overnight stay in hotel at Sialkot.

Day 04:  Sialkot – Rohtas – Islamabad

Today we will depart for Islamabad, en-route visit Gurudwara Janamasthan Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, Gurdwara Choa Sahib and old Haveli Maan Singh at Rohtas fort (near Jhelum) and then proceed onward to Islamabad – on arrival transfer to hotel and check in. Dinner out on the Margala Hills. Overnight stay in hotel at Islamabad.

Day 05:  Islamabad – Panja Sahib – Peshawar

Today we will take full day excursion to pay homage to the Gurdwara of Panja Sahib. Afterwards we will proceed on motorway to Peshawar (the gateway to sub-continent). In the afternoon we will walk through Saddar Bazaar (close to hotel) of Peshawar. Overnight stay in hotel at Peshawar.

Day 06:  Peshawar – Islamabad

In the morning we will visit Qissa Khawani Bazaar (old bazaar of story tellers) and later on visit Gurdwara of Bhai Joga Singh and Gurdwara Dharamsala Baba Sri Chand at Peshawar – afterwards we proceed down to Islamabad. Dinner out in a traditional restaurant. Overnight stay in hotel at Islamabad.

Day 07:  Islamabad – Village Bhagat Singh – Faisalabad

After breakfast we will leave on motorway for Faisalabad. Before checking in hotel we will visit the historical village of Bhagat Singh (Chak 105 GB) near Jaranwala of Faisalabad district. After dinner there would be Panjabi Cultural Night (subject to arrangements – with collaboration of local government). Overnight stay in hotel at Faisalabad.

Day 08: Faisalabad – Nankana Sahib – Faisalabad

After breakfast we will depart for Nankana Sahib and here at Nankana Sahib (the home of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji), we will pay homage to the Gurduwara Janamasthan Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Gurudwara Patti Sahib, Gurdwara Bal Lila Sahib, Gurudwara Tambu Sahib, Gurudwara 6th Padshahi, Gurudwara Malji Sahib, and Gurudwara Kiara Sahib – late in the evening we will drive back to Faisalabad. Overnight stay in hotel at Faisalabad.

Day 09:  Faisalabad – Multan

Today we will depart for Multan (the city of Sufi Saints) – on arrival in Multan transfer to hotel and check in. Late in the afternoon we will visit tomb of Shah Rukne Alam, Bahaud-din-Zakria, and tomb of Shah Shams Tabrez (also visit Gurdwara Thara Sahib in the same corridor) – afterwards visit of old bazaar of Hussain Aghai. Overnight stay in hotel at Multan.

Day 10: Multan – Pak Pattan – Lahore

After breakfast we will depart for Lahore – en route we will Mazaar of Baba Farid (Shakar Ganj) at Pak Pattan. On arrival transfer to hotel and check in. Dinner out in old city in front of Badshahi Mosque and Gurdwara and then shopping tour in Liberty Market. Overnight stay in hotel at Lahore.

Day 11: Lahore 

In the afternoon we will also visit Gurdwara Chuna Mandi and Gurdwara Sheed Ganj, (located in old part of Lahore city), Wazir Khan Mosque, tomb of Jahangir (second after Taj Mahal) – afternoon shopping tour of Liberty market. Dinner out in a traditional restaurant. Overnight stay in hotel at Lahore.

Day 12: Lahore – Back Home

All guests will be dropped at Wahga border or at Lahore Airport for journey back home.
